What to Bring to Wadi Rum
Preparing for your Wadi Rum tour is simple, but bringing the right personal items will make your desert experience more comfortable. Wadi Rum is a natural desert area with strong sun, dry air, open landscapes, and simple camp conditions.
During your tour, we provide drinking water, meals, and the basic equipment needed for camping or an overnight stay. You only need to bring a few useful items for the day, the evening, and your time at the camp.
What to Bring During the Day
Sun Protection
Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat. The desert sun can be strong during the day.
Camera or Smartphone
Bring your phone or camera for photos of dunes, canyons, rock bridges, and viewpoints.
Small Backpack
Jeep space is limited. Carry only your daily essentials in a small backpack.
Lip Balm and Skin Care
Dry air and wind can dry your skin and lips quickly. A small lip balm is useful.
Power Bank
Useful for photos, videos, and messages during full-day or overnight tours.
What to Bring for an Overnight Stay
Flashlight or Headlamp
Useful for moving around the Bedouin camp at night.
Towel
A towel is useful if you want to freshen up at the camp.
Personal Toiletries
Bring toothbrush, toothpaste, wet wipes, and personal hygiene products.
Insect Repellent
Not always needed, but helpful during warmer months.
Luggage Information
Space inside the jeep is limited. Bring only a small backpack for the tour.
Extra luggage can be stored safely at our office or left in your vehicle before the tour starts.
